What algorithms should a programmer know?
Studied and understood, almost all, the most famous and effective SEARCH and SORT algorithms. I taught because I knew that this was a necessary base and a push up for the encoder, but now I realize that there are many other alg-we, and since there is no point in teaching everything, the question has matured: what algorithms and from what classes of algorithms should I continue to study?
(I have time and desire, but I don't know in which direction to move)
-Thanks in advance for your answer.

It depends on the tasks to be solved. What problems you solve, such algorithms and study.
It would be nice to know what commonly used algorithms exist, but there is not much point in learning implementation details from memory.
Choosing a path, packing a backpack, cutting - how do we know which of these you need?
In any case, you are still quite far from improving existing algorithms.
In the meantime, use already invented ones - pick up a convenient reference book for yourself, or at least read them on the wiki.
