What algorithm can be used for parallelization on gpu to show all the advantages of this approach?

We need such an algorithm that it could be visualized and parallelized on a video card. I need all this for my diploma)

All the suggestions suggested above are bad in that they require a very detailed knowledge of specific subject areas, and areas that are not simple.
And you need a task that demonstrates not skills in the subject area, but the use of CUDA technology (or what are you going to use there?).
Take the FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) algorithm: there are many algorithm options, easy to debug and test.
