What advice would you give to a future freelancer?

I thought about freelancing to help my family with money, because I know that in this business knowledge and experience are the main thing, not age (I'm 16 years old). C++.
I had a lot of questions about what exactly is in demand, what to study, where to freelance, etc. I understand that the competition is huge, but there is a desire, well, a need, and if it will be $ 1 per day, I am ready start. I ask for practical advice, guidance. It would be just great if someone would agree to answer questions by email. Thank you!

A dollar a day is a schidos in general! You can pay for net and cable or take the bus for 2 whole months to go to work!
Well, if you are so serious, then listen:
put Java and C ++ aside for now, well, freelancing from them takes longer to exhaust, sit down to study php and Worpress, well, you can dig bitrix, there joomla modx - all this will give you a quick result, and

How much money is needed?
If not, then don't waste your precious time freelancing. At this age, it is better to make efforts to obtain fundamental knowledge, then it will be harder and simply more expensive to do so. Studying now instead of earning freelance will pay off handsomely in 3-4 years.

I would advise you not to waste your youth on any nonsense.

According to the title of the question: I would advise you to get enough sleep :) Then it will not be possible to do this.
In essence: go to a web design studio, you won’t earn money, but you will learn everything you need, the main thing is not to get stuck there. Then start fighting your own.

16 is too young to focus on freelancing. The personality is not fully formed, at this age it is very important to maintain formal business relations with other people (i.e. just friends are not enough).
1) Study-study-study, read books, go to university (it is not necessary to graduate, 3 years should be enough, but it is better to finish) ==> competent speech, incl. written and communication skills, incl. business communications => sales skills (freelancing is always selling yourself as the best performer).
2) Go to work for hire (not in IT; work should not interfere with studies) => business communication skills, understanding business problems on your own skin (freelancing is always a solution to someone else's business problems)
3) Try to do projects in your free time for yourself, friends, acquaintances (for free, but for a share of the income from the project) => understanding what is valuable to you (work or money), understanding responsibility, understanding unpromising projects and useless work (to then avoid it).
Then you can already leave work and engage in full freelancing: the first orders will come from colleagues, acquaintances and their acquaintances.
I have been freelancing for 6 years (since 29) without being employed. Those. experience, both positive and negative.

I have a similar situation and they wrote to me that it’s better not to go into freelancing without experience, since it’s very difficult for a beginner to find a job there. Many advise you to go to work in some studio, because you will gain experience and learn something new.
Well, if you seriously want to start freelancing, then learn Python or front-end development
