What about crontab on manjaro linux?

Good night, I've been using manjaro linux for about half a year now, I decided to go to crontab here and I don't understand how to create a file from root user. I write sudo crontab -e and get this:

Nothing works except ctrl+z. I tried to reinstall cronic via pamac, but it's still the same.
