Website or landing page?

Hello. We decided to launch the site, but a colleague and I had a dispute. What is better to do: a full-fledged website or a landing page?
Arguments for the site: I would like to break the site into several logical parts - the main one, about us, contacts, prices, blog. Usually, on landing pages, all this (except for the blog) fits on one page, but internally there is a feeling that this is cooking borscht and dumplings in one pan.
Arguments for the landing: The site, of course, is a site, but the landing is a vacuum cleaner of applications. Well, that is, there should be no distracting tabs, buttons, extra banners - leading away from cta and capture forms. Everything should clearly work out for action, without choice, without distractions.
In general, judge guys)) Website or landing page?
And I also thought that if the "main" page and "prices" are mixed up in the landing format (utp, cta, flash the pages with forms and application buttons). Drive traffic to these pages; leave "contacts" and "about us" static; and cross-post the "blog" through social networks by attaching a link. Difficult/difficult?

Make a website and landing page at the same time. You will send traffic from advertising networks to the landing page. On the site you will publish articles about the products that you sell. In this case, the landing page must be in the same site domain. You can shove it, for example, like this site.ru/landing

The big question here is why are you doing this at all.
are you going to sell something through it, or is it an information site?
if to sell, then what, what subject? Is it one product/service or several? Do you have little content or is there enough for a whole catalog? how are you going to promote? who is this site for?
in general, you need to think about the purpose of the site and its visitors, and then draw conclusions about how to design it.
Well, the second question is how do you do it. multi-page sites are concise and without garbage, and there are landing pages with an "order" button on the entire page through each offer and pop-up windows with timers - this is complete trash.

if the purpose of the site is to accept applications, then landing will be easier. but it needs to be advertised.
for the site you need to compose more advanced literate texts - and then the site will give applications without spending on advertising.

Landing is a simplified site. If you don’t want to bother with development, then it’s better to set up a landing page and start generating sales today. If you have a serious project and ambitious plans, then it is better to make a website right away.
