Web server under the photo. Which storage architecture to choose considering scaling?
Hello!
There is a web project, it has a lot of photos.
Need advice on how to properly store photos, taking into account scaling?
Now all the photos are falling into the general section of the web server, the space is getting smaller and smaller ... I
plan to buy a machine for statics, a separate domain like my-cdn.com
In nginx, create a subdomain fs1.my-cdn.com and add files there. How will the place run out for another server fs2.my-cdn.com, etc. In the photo table, store the server number (or fs1) in order to understand on which machine the file is located.
I'm not strong in Linux, so nothing else comes to mind. The web server is running debian.
ps I will be glad to any answers. I'll mark everyone!: D Only without flooding plz.
