Highly loaded photo hosting is supposed. What is the most productive WEB image server.
Choice between Varnish and nginx.

I have already developed this server.
My data:
Proc: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
RAM: 8 GB
Hard: 2x250 GB SATA2 (RAID)
Port: 100 mbit
We are located: Ukraine, Kharkiv
Everything suits us. ;)
On the server there is a bundle СentOS 5 x86_64 + Nginx + PHP FastCGI

I chose nginx for everything, I give large files from it, more than 10 terabytes, and small pictures - millions of files, about 10GB are packed on a disk.
