We inserted a USB flash drive into the USB connector and the laptop turned off, what is the reason?
Good afternoon!! Such a problem, they inserted a USB flash drive into the USB connector in the ASUS laptop and the laptop immediately turned off after a click, and no longer turns on. This situation was a month ago, we also inserted the mouse into the USB connector and after a click the screen went out and the laptop stopped working. They took it to repair, they replaced the motherboard, it turns out that the situation is the same now and we will have to change the board again ?! Or we still did not solve the problem, for what reason could this be? after all, it's not realistic to change the motherboard every time because of the USB connector !!

I think it's due to static electricity.
Try to disconnect from the mains, pull out the battery, wait 10 minutes, hold down the power button - so that the capacitors are discharged. Then you can try to collect and turn on. Perhaps during the previous assembly, all the screws on the motherboard were not screwed in and there is a potential difference, but it’s unlikely. Maybe it's too dusty inside. In general, there can be many reasons.
