Water got on the phone, after drying the screen began to blink. What could it be?

Good afternoon!
A week ago, I dropped my phone (Honor 8X) on a bucket of water, got it out quickly and immediately tried to turn it on. At first it turned on and worked stably, and then after about an hour the screen died out. Then I turned it off and removed the lid and put it in the rice. I dried it there for about 2 days, and now I tried to turn it on, but the screen flickers in stripes: video
Question number 1: in my case, the problem is only with the screen or maybe the water has affected other components as well?
Question number 2: with such a flickering screen, how long will the phone continue to work?
Question number 3: if you change the screen, will it work normally?

Answer number 1: The phone must be opened, no stupid gestures like putting it on the battery or in rice, immediately remove this nonsense. Take it to the nearest service so that the guys open it up and look at which elements the water gets into, and since your battery is not removable, there is a chance that water can get on an important element (emmc flash, percent, power controller - and your phone is dead, and there will be a replacement of the board.
Answer number 2: As mentioned above, for phones with a non-removable battery, the process of decay and corrosion is very fast, since the phone is constantly powered by the battery. Perhaps in your case, water got on the display cable, from there and inadequate Behavior If the water got on the percent (videocyp) or emmc flash - urgently run and wash.
Answer number 3: This is the algorithm for solving your problem. Bring it to the service, they open it, assess the scale of the tragedy. If they are minimized, they check the display cable (the display itself), if there is no chance of recovery, a replacement.
Answer #4: The average price of recovery pleasure is 1500-2000. In case of screen replacement (if you do not need to wash out corrosion) - the price of the spare part + the cost of work (~ 1000-1500) = ~ 3000, depending on the rates of your city.
