Vue components can work as a standalone App?

Good afternoon, I can't figure out if it's possible to use vue.component as a standalone app? There is a tamplate everywhere and there is already a layout in it. And I want it to be like app (app.mount('selector'), you mount this component on the Node Element you need and already do v-for, v-if in its scope.
I can’t find it somehow in the documentation, there are only tamplate

But it's better to master the assembly and single-file components.
