VScode/ide + ftp - what are the approaches?
Question from Windows. Always, with regard to remote editing of some cms, I did everything through winSCP and immediately edited individual files in sublime.
Recently, for my personal purposes, I began to try different editors / ide, settled on VScode
And how best to use it in the topic of dedicated editing of various large and ready-made cms, without using git.
1) - search for a program and emulate a locally remote ftp as a virtual disk and edit as if just on a computer
2) - locally download the entire project and look for plugins that somehow synchronize / upload changes to the server
3, ...) - ?
How best to approach this from the context of using modern editors in working with a remote old project without git, builders, etc. with simple js, css, php files in regular/self-written cms
