VSC. Make syntax highlighting in the commands.txt file as if it were commands.sh - is it possible and how?

Let's say I have a commands.txt file where I made a cheat sheet of console commands.

I want VSC to highlight the syntax for bash in it, but I don't want to rename the file to commands.sh for this (you never know, it will accidentally start or something :)

Is it possible somehow explain to VSC that it is this file that needs to be highlighted as having content for the command line (or something else, such as PHP)?

How?
