[VS2012][EF6] Updating model from DB?

Hello! I have an EF6 data model created from an existing MySQL database. When changing the structure of tables in the database (changing field types \ deleting fields, etc.), I would like to reflect the same changes in the EF model. I tried to do it as follows: I go into the model designer, open the context menu from scratch and select "Update model from database", the process completes successfully, but no changes are observed. Where is my mistake?
