VS code no longer opens files from server?

Installed the latest updates.
Now it is not possible to open the file directly from the north. You need to download the file and open it locally.
It used to work, of course.

I read that you need to click the "open locally" checkbox, it seems to be called that, but I can't find it anywhere.
Can anyone come across?
