VPS or a separate server, what should I choose in my case?

What to choose and how to act correctly?
site traffic 8-9 thousand per day! is now on a regular hosting and exceeds the allowable load in the cpu - 5000 and muscle - 500! somewhere in 1.5-2 times.
there are options to take VPS / VDS for 800 rubles, RAM - 8 GB, processor - 2 cores, disk - 50 GB SSD
And a separate server - two cores, 4 GB of RAM and costs 1680 rubles per month
It seems that the VPS has more power, but some say that vps can be even weaker than regular hosting.
What do you advise ?
