VPN sniffer and tcp http - question?

decided to test vpngate. I listen with a sniffer (Wireshark), tcp is encrypted and http is all open. I look at the connection naturally. It's unclear if this is some kind of feature of this service or ... does
the provider see all the headers on port 80?

well, if you look inside an encrypted tunnel, then it is logical that you see unencrypted traffic.
