VPN file transfer?

Good night everyone
Need help. Description of the process - the employee has a tablet connected to the Internet. It connects via VPN to the company's network. Employees are located in different cities. Sharepoint 2010 is configured in the company. At the moment, files are uploaded to folders (sharepoint) through the tablet (vpn). It is almost impossible to upload files larger than 3-4 MB (we wait 10-15 minutes, as a result, an error). How can I organize file transfer faster?? Tablets with 4G support. Thanks!!

yes, at least 5G - EDGE is on the drum,
upload it to folders much faster and transfer it to Sharepoint, apparently you are driving a bunch of service traffic
