VOIP adapters are not popular now or how to make a call center from mac mini (late 2012)?
I got fired up to receive calls through a virtual PBX, and now I don’t know how best to connect headphones with a microphone to mac mini 2012? Since there is no microphone input, there are no normal usb headsets. Is it possible to buy a usb sound card? mac is unlikely to find it - it does not even see the usb hub.
or a crazy idea in general: buy a voip / sip adapter (which for some reason you rarely find anywhere and it’s expensive), connect it to a cloud PBX and then bring it to a wired phone via FXS, and then put on any 2.5 mm headset?

sell mac mini and use the proceeds to buy an IP-background with a headphone jack of
money and still have a few such pieces of iron left
The Logitek USB headset works great on such a poppy in both directions.
The best option - do not torment the poppy, but buy a normal VoIP device.
For example DECT handset
Panasonic TGP500 or yealink w52p. The second PoE even has one.
Well, in general, Yandex Market will help you better :).
And with adapters VoIP-analogue I do not recommend messing around. Savings are not strong in the end.
