Voice commands in android?

I am aware that there is a Google speech recognition for android. But I want something different. You don't need to recognize speech. You just need to write down one or two words, and then be able to recognize them and perform some action. Similar voice commands are found in Motorola phones. At least in the old version it could be done and it worked pretty well for a weak phone.
Actually, the question is: is there something similar for android? If not, where can I find something to read on this topic (comparison of short audio fragments) - at least the general principles?
