Hello, I've been struggling with an error all day:
tools-winpre2k.msi

It doesn't work, install/uninstall/upgrade the version. There was a 7th version a long time ago, I decided to install the 8th version and then everything rests on this message, I decided to ask for the help of the habra community :)

In network connections, they are still listed:

Another option.
Delete this in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\C3839DFF5D1079849A4534FA95A9DE03]
and
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\Private\UninstallCDSComponents]
