Visual Development Environment for HTML5 Applications

Good day,

There are very handy programs for developing HTML5 games (Construct 2, Game Maker, etc.). They are convenient because everything is done through events and a simple interface. But this is for games.

Is there something similar for developing HTML5 applications? As in Delphi - I built the program visually, added a couple of lines of code and you're done.

Thank you very much for the replies.

Anything like that. But in general, there was already an attempt at “events and a simple interface” that would generate html: it was called asp.net webforms. Failed (no holywar please). It's better to learn html and write it yourself.

Firefox + Web developer plugin… IMHO the ideal environment. I don't even know what else to add to this. Perhaps some offline Reference manual if you don’t remember all the html tags and CSS properties for memory ...

If you want delphi, then you definitely need to look towards Sencha Architect. In the visual environment, an interface is built, events are hung, models fly, routes, controllers and, of course, view.
The first version of the sencha was terribly executed and rather sluggish. Now the situation has changed a lot: the behavior of the framework has become more logical, the speed and reliability have increased significantly.
