Good afternoon. I work under MacOS, I used MAMP and AMPPS before, but their functionality is not enough, I would like to have a full-fledged debian for work. There are no problems installing the necessary software, but I can’t forward ip from the guest to the main one and connect to the guest via ssh. Can anyone suggest how to do this?

rus-linux.net/MyLDP/vm/VirtualBox-networking.html + on debian you need to install apt-get install openssh-serve

Select the NAT adapter in the settings of the network interfaces of the virtual machine.
Better yet, try Vagrant.
