The classic option is to use the pdf2swf converter from swftools and give the flash to the swf client for viewing.

I use scribd successfully at my place/
Get a Publisher ID to give a .pdf to a client on the fly, without first uploading it to the scribd site.
Use the Scribd Javascript API .
