There was a task to develop a video content store for Android. Can anyone tell me what are the solutions for protecting videos from copying for android? As far as I know, when providing content under a contract, the copyright holders insist that DRM be implemented in the project, so that the downloaded film cannot simply be pulled out of the file system and uploaded somewhere.

DRM support officially starts with Android 3.0. And so - there are several third-party developments, now I don’t remember exactly. In my opinion, they worked on the principle of video on demand.

You can use Cipher . Underwater rock - it will take a very long time to decrypt, since reading from the file system itself is very slow
