Video card selection

Recommend a video card 512MB or 1GB in price / quality ratio with HDMI output version 1.3
It requires good compatibility to connect to a TV, and other multimedia requirements.

Too vague request. I can already see how the NV vs ATI war has unfolded from below.

@NetomaN

for a person who will take a vidyakha, there will be no fundamental difference, except that I would like the price to be within $ 100

What will the card be used for?

More for work than games, connection to TV via HDMI, good video and sound output is required, because there are rumors that HDMI version 2.1 did not work normally in a video / sound pair.
In general, I would like to hear several options, pros and cons. Thank you.

If there is a desire to install any Linux distribution in the future (for review or permanent work), then I advise you to look towards Nvidia now in order to avoid possible problems.
If someone had given me similar advice 5-7 years ago, then I could have saved some money by changing ATI to Nvidia on several system units.
