vestacp webserver on WSL, which ones are underwater?
I had such an idea, if there is WSL, then why not make a full-fledged web server on it?
There is a machine at home on Windows 10 pro, 24/7 it works mainly in the mode of showing TV / movies and plex. At home there is not bad internet and a Mi Router 3 router on Padavan. I myself am engaged in the development of sites, so I am slightly familiar with panels for organizing web servers, from the free ones, the most suitable seemed to me to be vesta, simple, working, easy to customize, since almost everything can be riveted with your own templates, for example, under the multiversion of php and / or the method its work, and then just press the buttons.
So, it turns out there is a linux subsystem on which you can run Ubuntu, on which you can roll the message, which you can open on the Internet and throw domains on it. Next, roll up the necessary services, for example, I need OwnCloud, and use them purely for personal needs, but "for all the money."
I understand that the most reasonable thing is to roll the same Ubuntu instead of Windows and use it natively, but the family will not understand either my tastes or Ubuntu itself, and I myself don’t really want a penguin on a computer for TV.
So here are a few questions:
1) Has anyone already tried this idea with deploying a web server on WSL? It is working?
2) Is it possible to make WSL work with all the bindings in the background and with autorun, so that you can set it up and forget it once?
3) Forwarding ports is not a problem, but maybe there are subtleties of forwarding in WSL?
4) If there are any guides, please give.
