VDS + YANDEX.DISK?

Welcome all. My django project is supposed to store user files.
I have placed my project on firstvds.ru ubuntu server 16.04 and I want to connect yandex.disk via web dav directly to the media folder of my project as a data store.
It is assumed that the user will not constantly access the files directly, but download them as needed.
To what extent is this applicable in real projects? What are the pitfalls? What are the alternatives for expanding VDS disk space?

that is - LIMITS
when they are exceeded - surprises with expected answers
best of all a separate Storage VDS, with mounted partitions
, storages will go cheap and cheerful, just make an interface ("the file is being prepared, downloading is starting, bl something not this way"

It's a kapets how slow plus Yandex limits.
Buy a vdska with a bigger disk in the same ovx or hatzner
