I am looking for a tool to generate a multipage tree site with HTML documentation. NOT from programming sources, but from simple human documentation stuffed with hands.
All you need is:
- Static HTML generation.
- No CMS functionality required.
- Automatic creation of a table of contents.
- XML ​​or WYSIWYG is definitely not needed, but markup like markdown will do.
Welcome:
- Screwed search (you may need it).
- Ability to create a summary file with a PDF version.

step 1: do everything in the CMS, therefore the appearance will depend on the selected CMS template
step 2: use a static page generator, for example
