Using openssl to validate a certificate legally?

One of the projects has an idea to use openssl with the gost engine to validate a public key certificate. It will be used only for this purpose (no encryption, no signature). What problems can there be from the point of view of the legislation of the Russian Federation?

problems with t.z. legislation can only be in case of violation of this very legislation, but I think everyone doesn’t care deeply how you release keys in your projects ...

There are no problems from the point of view of the law, but in order to receive any certificates of conformity, the cryptography module must be certified.
