Is it possible to use gitlab to store various kinds of files (as an additional backup, just in case), such as books, documents, pictures, 3d models, blueprints, distributions of small programs?
What problems might arise?
How much space is provided per project?

git is poorly suited for storing non-text data. If you don’t understand it well, then grab problems over time
