User password change in Roundcube?

I added the password plugin to change the password in Roundcube, but when saving it, it gives the error "An error occurred: I can't save the new password"
roundcube seems to be attached to ISPmanager, passwords are stored in etc/dovecot/dovecot.passwd, etc/exim/passwd.
Maybe someone faced such a problem?

Well, logically, if passwords are stored in a text file, then check whether there are write permissions to this file from the account in which you change the password. I just have credentials stored in ldap, it's easier with a password. As an option, try to build a clean build from Exim Dovecot Roundcube with minimal functionality and rollback the plugin on it.
