UPS monitoring and control at communication nodes?

There are a number of communication nodes in which the UPS is located, a pair of switches.
All are connected to the main node by several twisted pairs (up to 100-120 m, there are free ones).
What options are there to monitor the status of the UPS, and also, if possible, manage them in the event of a “freeze” or, if necessary, restart?
Communication nodes are telecommunication RACK cabinets 12U-15U up to 60 cm deep, respectively, “large” smart rack UPSs are not suitable.
The number of nodes is 8, but an increase is possible.
It would be nice to be able to connect to 150+ meters.
If possible, a budget solution is desirable.
And if possible, I would like to be able to manage in the absence of electricity at the node.
We will start monitoring in Zabbix.

remote reboot upsy? why? oops freeze??? I hear for the first time, and I have seen 3-4 thousand oops on nodes ...
If you need accurate monitoring and the ability to control, I recommend a device, an RS ***-to-Eth converter, for example MOXA. In fact, this device emulates the connection of the console to the UPS, with all the accompanying features.
I also recommend exploring the possibilities of the UPSilon 2000 program www.ixbt.com/power/ups/upsilon_2000.shtml The
ideal option for telecom operators is monitoring via SNMP, but it all depends on the UPS model, at least you need an ethernet. Here, search and study for yourself, Google will help.
And as the cheapest option for monitoring the phase on the node, I can advise you to monitor the simplest link via SNMP! For example, I use dead media converters for this. In fact, any device capable of raising the ethernet and plugged into a power outlet will do.
Oh yes, if there is a task to pull active equipment, I recommend a bunch of shop.nag.ru/catalog/00007.Avtomatizatsiya-i-monitoring/05630.Upravlenie-pitaniem/03937.SNR-SMART and this is shop.nag.ru/catalog/00007 .Avtomatizatsiya-i-monitoring/05629.Mikrokontrolery/10310.SNR-ERD-32 - here the device pings the switch, if there is no ping, it can pull the socket.

Everything is great, but nowhere does it say what kind of UPS brand model, but in general if these are normal UPSs, then snmp

There are several options - from integrating an adapter snmp into the UPS, to tying the same UPS with current and voltage sensors, and controlling the UPS by power. It all depends on the type of UPS, the availability of a communication protocol (if there is RS-323), Wishlist, budget.
I have monitoring development options.

With a strong desire to save money, an SNMP adapter can be replaced with a piece of iron for 1000 rubles. with USB port, OpenWRT and NetworkUPSTools.
An additional advantage of this option is the ability to use it to monitor the network.
