Uploading multiple files to gmail under linux possible?

Actually the whole question is in the title. On linux, neither firefox nor chrome works with multiple file uploads at the same time. Only one. Multiboot is enabled in settings. Vkontakte can upload a bunch of files at once, which means there is a technical possibility. And google, it seems, has two hands on linux and uses it itself ... Am I doing something wrong or is it just some kind of strange flaw?
