Upgrade from e8400 to xeon5450?

I welcome colleagues. Available equipment: mat. Asus p5ql pro board, e8400, zalman cnps7000c-cu cooler (all copper), enchance (!) 600 watt power supply. In this regard, three questions: 1. Is it possible to switch to xeon 5450 or higher with this mother? (or recommend a more powerful processor for this socket) 2. Take radeon 7870. Will the power supply pull it? and whether the video card will work due to the lack of pcie 3.0. there is only 2.0. 3. Will this cooler pull this processor? All equipment is planned to be operated at standard frequencies without overclocking. I consider only this socket and others like it.

Switched to MSI \ Asus motherboards, everything works correctly.
1. You need to update the BIOS from the manufacturer's website to the latest one.
2. If the CPU is not detected, you need to flash a modified BIOS

It will be difficult to feel the increase in power with such a combination of processors, they are too close in performance, and the video ... well, it’s very old and eats a lot ...
If you got the hardware for free, you can get confused by a replacement,
but buy this combination in the hope of improving the computer is probably not worth it, the difference will be minimal.

Everything will be fine.
A video card is only better than a fresher rx470 or gf1060 or better.
The processor is better than the L5440 - it is noticeably colder and the power supply loads less.
Memory 8GB, if 4x2GB is where to put, ssd and there will be a fire machine)
