Updating software installed under a different account in the AppStore

I'm trying to update software that was once installed under a different account. I get the message "Updates are available for other accounts." My Apple ID is registered in the settings of my user, there are no other users in the system. How to upgrade?

ps Thank you in advance for your replies.

Exit the store and re-enter it under the account under which you put it. Under it everything will be OK. Then again change the account to the usual one and use it.

Within each app is an iTunesMetadata.plist. In which the owner is registered. There is a similar entry on the server side. Therefore, the only way out is to remove someone else's App and install your own completely.

Through Spotlight, we are looking for a file - xcode.app and drop it into the Recycle Bin. Somewhere, there is a copy of the "Programs" (Application) folder. Helped me. Updates no longer offer XCode
