Updating an application from the market, is it possible to set the required version for it?

Is it possible to specify that an update is available only if a previous update is installed, which cannot be skipped?

It is forbidden.
Only if you independently implement the necessary logic with loading an intermediate version from a third-party source. It will only work if the user does not update from the market. So the option is doubtful.
