Unity2d character instantaneous movement?

There is a character at his feet weighs a collider that checks whether he is on the ground. If you are, then nothing happens, otherwise the jump animation is played. So. I'm moving the character from point A to point B using transform.position. But there is one problem. The movement occurs from the ground to the ground, that is, when moving, there is no gap between the collider and the ground, both at point A and at point B. But when the character moves, the jump animation is played already at point B. Can this be fixed somehow?
