Unity (ubuntu 13.04) won't load
After updating Ubuntu Base, Unity does not load, and it does not give any errors, there is simply no gui after login.
Tried:
dconf reset -f /org/compiz/
unity --reset-icons &disown
Doesn't help. I also tried to go to Cinnamon, it gives an error and asks to restart it, after a couple of reboots the gui appears, but continues to give an error.

It turns out that installing the driver from the ATI website is not a good idea, after system updates this driver does not work.
Remove cinnamon, I discovered this bug a long time ago: bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/1188947
Only gnome2-fallback works.
Ubuntu developers are not going to fix it, since they do not support cinnamon.
If you are going to write a bug report in cinnamon - drop the link, I will mark it.
