Under what to develop Qt programs GNOME or KDE?
I want to start programming in Qt. To do this, you need to have a KDE desktop, as applications simply will not work in gnome. (for example, Kontakt does not work in GNOME, and Evolution refuses to work normally in KDE (all sorts of notify, etc.)
What prevents the GNOME and KDE projects from developing uniform standards for the interaction of programs with the environment? How do you even live like that in your linuxe?
