Ubuntu + Windows on one disk - how to install?

Hello!
I want to put ubuntu 14 next to Windows 7. I allocated a partition on the disk, specifically to put Ubuntu clip2net.com/s/3h7rv9R there, but when installing ubuntu, the new volume is not visible. You can see the entire hard drive, and as empty, and ubuntu offers to erase it. How to install it in a new volume?

Erase this new volume from the Ubuntu installer, create a partition in the same place in the Linux file system in the freed space (ext4 for example) and everything will work out. It's just that you've created a partition on a filesystem that ubuntu can't install itself to.

It's strange, however ..))
Actually, all the latest ubuntu installers accurately recognize windows partitions and offer various installation options (next to win, to free space, etc.)
at one time I initially installed windows, and only then ubuntu.
