Ubuntu server permissions problem between root and my user.?
I have a question. created a server on amazon on ubuntu. all folders and files were created by root. now when i want to work with laravel or database or web server. I have a problem with the rights, I have to give the rights 777 to do my job, then the rights to do it by default.
How to make sure that the user through which I log on to the server has the right to edit everything that root created without changing the rights to files and folders. all this is not convenient.
Or what are the options.
sorry for the text and confusion.
