Ubuntu Remote Desktop from Android Tablet

I want to program on an Android tablet by connecting to a remote computer on Ubuntu. Will VNC work for this? Or maybe there is something else? On what pings can you normally type text and use the mouse?

VNC server will go. I do not know if there is a client on the tablet. In any case, there are plenty of other options.

for bad channels it's better to use xrdp (over vnc)

I connected to a working machine on Linux Mint. There are many vnc clients for android: some slow down more, some less. But even with a wide channel and not a weak device (asus transformer prime), it still doesn’t work comfortably, now I use only ssh.

Try TeamViewer, you can even manage it from your phone.
