Ubuntu for print designer?

Hello dear and much respected geeks. I would like to ask another question about the OS. Is it possible to put Ubuntu out of the box and work on it as a designer in a printing house, or is it still Windows Forever?
Please do not talk about Macs, the boss is stingy, but put Hackintosh or not, while I think.

It is certainly possible, but this is before the first "Please send me only in .PSD or .CDR"; "Hello, I have a layout in .PSD here - please do it urgently."

In short, no. I say this as an experienced printer.

In general, it's funny. A license for Photoshop is much more expensive than a license for Windows. And if the photoshop is stolen, then why not put the stolen Windows?
