Ubuntu 20.04 password entry window freezes, what should I do?
While working on Ubuntu 20.04, something like this often happens: an authentication window appears in the upper left corner of the screen.
It crawls out on top of all windows and does not go away even if you click on Super. If you enter the password and click "Confirm", nothing happens. Clicking on "Cancel" also does not work. The problem is solved only by restarting the computer. Are there any options how to solve this without rebooting?
I also noticed that this window most often pops up after I used the file manager as an administrator for a while.
One more feature: although you can’t see anything through it, you can interact with programs “under” it
