After the last pack of updates (without switching to a new version of the system), the sound stopped working in the Google Chrome browser. In other browsers (Opera, FireFox) everything works without problems.
In chrome, I completely cleared the history, disabled all extensions, checked that sound playback was allowed in the settings. The tab shows that the sound is playing, but it is not. I decided to spit and install Chromium, but the sound is also not reproduced in it.
What could be the problem, where and how to look for it?
