Hello.
Connected to a beech the second monitor. But a question arose ...
I know a horror story that if you pull the monitor out of the beech, the video card may burn out.
What happens if the electricity goes out? The monitor will turn off the second one will turn off, since it is running on mains, and the laptop will run on battery power. Is it dangerous for the video card?

At home, a second monitor is connected via HDMI and there are no problems with this.
What is your connection interface?

Well ... with the same success, a USB port can burn out from the fact that a powered device is pulled out of it. Or the power supply (or power circuits inside the laptop) will burn out because the charge was pulled out too quickly.
The chance is about the same. Use it and don't sweat it.
