Twitter, "Account Suspended." What are the solutions?

Dear Colleagues, perhaps someone faced a similar situation. The account was blocked, for reasons that are not entirely clear (most likely due to a large number of follow attempts). The help says that you can apply for an account renewal, which I did. More than a week has passed and the situation has not changed.
Question: does Twitter support always respond so “promptly” to user requests? And what else can be done to speed up the solution of this problem? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Perhaps your twitts contain a lot of links to your sites or ads? For example, Google+ gets banned for it.
You absolutely did the right thing by writing to technical support. Write extensively and clearly, this will speed up the process. Of course, it’s not even worth waiting for a quick unlock, it usually takes two weeks or more. If it doesn’t help, then write again, remind them from time to time about yourself.
And here is a real example of a tech support response:
This account was suspended for sending multiple unsolicited messages using the replyand/or mention feature. These features are intended to make communication between people on Twitter easier. Twitter monitors the use of these features to make sure they are used as intended and not for abuse. Using either feature to post messages to a bunch of users in an unsolicited or egregious manner is considered an abuse of its use, which results in account suspension.
