Tutorial/video/portal to learn asp.net WebAPI?

I want to take up development under WebAPI. And there is no reference book where I can always peep and just read.
There is a lot of material on asp.net mvc. In general, you can work with this, the principle is similar.
But I want some kind of holistic conscious guidance in order to feel more confident.
In general, who knows what is better to read, watch?

I have not seen such a guide. WebApi is an intermediate option between MVC and WCF. If you seriously take on the development of services - you need to read WCF. Full of info. If not seriously - consider that WebApi is MVC, which is sharpened for the distribution of json / xml and not html.
For the future, ASP.NET vNext Api and MVC are lumped together. This behavior has changed. It might be worth looking to the future and exploring vNext.
