You need to dig towards DLNA.
The fact is that if you cunningly configure windows media center, the laptop will be able to act as a DLNA host. On Desire, install the program from the market (there are different ones) and find yourself in a local network with a laptop (you can also use your USB cable or Wi Fi).
But this is in theory, there are all sorts of videos on YouTube where this is done, but it didn’t work out for me to be honest (Desire Z) and I abandoned it. I managed to do the opposite, that the DLNA host is a phone, and I join it through the windows media center and play the content.
Do you need to transfer image from Desire camera to PC? If yes, then there is a USB Webcam program in the Market. And on the computer you need to install the server part www.placaware.com/?page_id=6 .
You can watch a movie / photo from your phone via DLNA (I had a sens player on DHD that could do this, if it doesn’t exist, you can look at the alternative market).
Isn't it easier to open the same movie on a computer?
But seriously, to transfer the stream from the screen, you need to transfer 800 * 480 (screen size) * 3 (bytes / pixel) * 30 (frames / s) = 33 MB / s, which will not fit through the USB interface. Again, phone capacity is not enough to capture video from the screen, reap it and transfer it.
