Touchscreen emulation?
I need to test an application (WPF) for correct work on tablets (i.e. work with a touch screen), but I do not have a tablet at hand and it is not yet possible to buy / borrow. Are there any programs that emulate a touch screen and allow you to use the mouse "as" a finger? I once heard about a program that emulates multitouch for testing applications on Windows 7, but now I can’t find it ...

If you are using Windows 8, then use the Windows 8 Simulator. Windows Store applications are usually debugged in this thing, but you can run it manually ( %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Simulator\Microsoft.Windows.Simulator.exe ) and test anything in it - even a site in IE. In addition to the fact that it emulates a touch screen more correctly - unlike multitouchvista, which, at least before, simply castrated messages from the mouse (as a result, everything will be bad on tablets, although everything is fine in it) - it still allows you to emulate other screen sizes (including large ones), DPI, and more. More details - here .
